Dear Dad,

As per your request, here is my ‘testimony’ of our visit to the camp (in brief as it’s almost Naomi’s feeding time)….

Day 1 we were shown around the area and the camp site and both Rick and myself felt “Been there, done that, now we can go home”.

Day 2 both Rick and I were feeling a little withdrawals from no computers, no internet access, no phones, no ‘on-tap’ water.

Day 3 we both started appreciating the peace and quiet and beauty of the surrounding area, the greenery (despite thinking desert means dry and brown, it was beautiful) and we both started wanting to stay longer.

Day 4 we were out most of the day, and enjoyed getting into the city for a little while, but really relished getting back to peace and quiet in the camp at the end of the day.

Day 5 when we were heading home we both commented that we would’ve loved to have stayed for a few more days, and we both thoroughly enjoyed our visit! We look forward to another trip in the (HOPEFULLY) not too distant future.

I know there have been a lot of changes in and around the camp since we were last there, and I look forward to seeing those changes. I believe anyone who goes to the camp with the hope of having peace and quiet and getting to spend some quality time with the Lord or in His Word being taught will have a truly fulfilling and blessed visit! We did!!
