ANNUAL MINISTERS CONFERENCE

Training believers to walk in the ways of the Lord and equipping them for the vocation He has called them to has been a defining feature of our ministry from its founding. We do this through various means, such as: discipleship, the Elijah School for the Prophets, church services, Bible studies, seminars, tent revivals, etc… Our Annual Ministers Conference might properly be thought of as the central event where all of these disparate elements come together. Certainly, it is a time when many of the people we have been in contact with over the year come together from all over the world.

You may have met one of our ministers or are just curious about the Lord and who He is, and come to the conference. Many such people have come to know the Lord at our ministers conferences. You may be a new believer who wants to serve the Lord, but does not know how, and come. You might be struggling with alcoholism, drug addiction, depression, family issues or other demons and come, in the hope of getting free as others have. You might be a long-time minister who needs your batteries recharged or desires to find a dynamic, challenging fellowship with fellow believers, and come. You may be a disciple of one of our ministers, a student at the Elijah School for the Prophets or one of our ordained ministers, and come. Whatever your situation may be, our annual ministers conferences are not about denominations, looking good, building up The Fishermen Ministry or any such thing. They are about Jesus Christ and equipping His people to accomplish the work He has called them to do. Best yet, they are free of charge and children are welcome.

The result of this approach is a dynamic environment that is different each year. Some years you will find many different ministers preaching, other years you might find only one. Some years we have daily seminars in addition to services, other years we have Bible studies, and still other years we have worked on building projects around the ranch. Always the focus is on the Lord and ministering to the particular group that is there that year.

And, for those of you who may have children, know that children are an important part of our ministers convention each year as well. They participate in many of the meetings and we have other activities designed specifically for them, including many outdoor activities, indoor activities and Bible studies.

Perhaps more important than the messages is the fellowship amongst attendees. We like to remind folks that while the Word of God is food for your spirit, good fellowship is just as important because it is food for your soul. Most of us, in our daily lives, have fellowship that more closely resembles junk food than the wholesome food our soul really needs to thrive. The mix of people, the diverse ministerial opportunities and the fellowship for both adults and children, is extraordinary during our ministers conferences and something that most attendees enjoy greatly.

Finally, our remote, rustic location gives attendees an opportunity to disconnect from their lives at home and turn their focus entirely on the Lord. This pit stop, to borrow a racing analogy, gives attendees an opportunity to stop, get reoriented and then re-engage in their normal lives with a fresh, down-to-earth perspective that bears real fruit in their daily life at home.

To get a better idea whether attending is for you, I encourage you to

Perhaps they will help you to envision yourself joining us this year! If you are interested in coming to our Annual Ministers Conference, please contact us.
